How They Work FeverTags work by determining if an animal's temperature has exceeded 103.6°. When this occurs, the tag will flash continuously until the temperature subsides. The tag monitors the animals temperature every hour. FeverTags can be placed in either ear using the specially designed pliers. The thermister is fed just inside the ear canal and the body of the tag is clipped to the ear similar to a visual ID tag. |
